When opening this account, remember to bring a valid South African Identity Document, any proof that you are studying and proof of your residential address (e.g. A utility bill). If you don't have a utility bill in your name, supply the utility bill of the person you live with. You must also supply a letter from them, with their name, ID number, signature and stating that you reside with them.
Foreign students, studying in South Africa may also open this account and must show us their valid passport, student visa and a declaration of assets.
